A CLOSER LOOK
Each plan provides one database instance with separate credentials and persistent volumes on shared infrastructure. All logical databases belong to one customer and share the instance’s resources. MySQL and PostgreSQL cannot be combined within one instance. Storage includes data, indexes and engine transaction logs.
Private connectivity is preferred where available. Remote connections use TLS and IP allowlisting, with access details confirmed during onboarding. There is no unrestricted public endpoint. A kadakhost.cloud connection hostname may be supplied; it does not include a website. Connection limits count simultaneous application connections, not visitors; use pooling where appropriate. Administrative connections may be reserved separately.
Instance setup, routine engine maintenance coordination, backup management and recovery assistance are included. Application schema design, query rewriting, ongoing DBA consulting, clustering, read replicas, point-in-time recovery and dedicated hosts are not included. Advanced tuning, specialist extensions and major-version migrations are assessed and quoted separately.
Web App Hosting already includes a database; you do not need to buy it again. These standalone plans suit additional instances, more database capacity or an application hosted elsewhere. MySQL and PostgreSQL have identical plan prices.
MANAGEMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES
Standard setup is included for a compatible, deployment-ready project: repository or supplied build, runtime, environment variables, included database and domain configuration. You provide working code, instructions, credentials and DNS access or make the DNS changes.
We manage the host platform, reverse proxy, certificates, restarts, resource limits and backups. Potentially breaking runtime and database updates are coordinated with you.
You own your code, business data, schema migrations and third-party accounts. Code repairs, major dependency changes, application development and complex migrations are separately scoped. Dependencies in your code or images remain your responsibility.
Domain registration, mailboxes, external APIs, paid licences and third-party subscriptions are separate costs.
Static backups cover deployed content. Web App backups cover declared persistent volumes and a database-consistent backup; standalone databases use engine-appropriate consistent backups. Ephemeral files, external services and undeclared volumes are excluded. Your Git provider retains repository history.
Backups are stored separately from the hosting node, encrypted in transit and at rest. Retention for plan-sized data and backup success checks are included.
Restore assistance is included during support hours after you confirm the recovery point and overwrite implications. App files and database backups may not share an atomic recovery point; coordinated recovery is scoped separately.
A daily backup can leave roughly 24 hours of changes since the last successful backup, or longer after a failure. Standard plans have no guaranteed recovery time or data-loss target. Backups and automatic restarts do not provide host failover.
Basic automated service, host-resource and backup checks are included. Advanced monitoring, tracing, custom alerts and staffed out-of-hours response are custom add-ons.

KadakHost handles the hosting environment, standard deployment setup, certificates and backups within your managed plan. You remain responsible for application code, data and third-party accounts.
Yes. All three use the same Web App plans. We confirm your runtime, build process and dependencies during onboarding.
Yes. Each Web App plan includes one MySQL or PostgreSQL instance within the plan’s total resources. Buy a separate Managed Database plan only for an additional or independently sized instance.
Entirely static build output can use Static Site Hosting. Server-side rendering, server actions or API routes require Web App Hosting. External APIs have their own hosting and fees.
Hosting support covers infrastructure and standard deployment configuration. Debugging business logic, building features and changing application code are separately scoped.
Static and Web App plans include one custom domain with its www alias, HTTPS and a kadakhost.cloud subdomain. Domain registration is separate.
Yes. We can move you to a larger plan or prepare a custom configuration. A restart or migration may be needed and is coordinated with you.
Daily backups are included. High availability and disaster recovery are separately designed and priced. Standard plans use one hosting environment and do not include automatic host failover, geographically separate standby infrastructure or an uptime SLA.
Our AI Hosting range covers OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, AnythingLLM, Langflow and OpenHands with customer-provided AI credentials. Other ready-made software needs a custom assessment and an agreed scope before deployment.
Available hosting locations are confirmed during onboarding. Include any location or data-residency requirements in your enquiry so we can confirm suitability and pricing.
Standard managed-hosting support is Monday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00 IST, excluding public holidays, through tickets and email. Requests outside these hours are handled in the next support window. Extended coverage is quoted separately. Response times are not guaranteed.
Memory exhaustion can terminate a process; CPU can be throttled and full storage can cause writes to fail. Hosted builds pause when build minutes run out; the current deployment remains online. At the transfer cap, outbound service may be restricted until an upgrade or the next cycle. There are no automatic overage bills: extra capacity needs an agreed upgrade or quote. Allowances reset monthly without rollover. Managed backup traffic and same-host private app/database traffic are excluded; other service-to-service outbound traffic counts.
